Contrary to modern day beliefs yoga is not just an aerobic exercise. As well as stretching the tense parts of your body, a daily shot of yoga makes everyone feel happier, calmer, more flexible, and better equipped to handle life's challenges.
My husband loves that I practice yoga most mornings, because he says on the days that I do, I never nag at him about anything. :) It can be a different kettle of fish when I don't get a practice in, apparently.
But don't panic, a regular practice doesn't have to mean you practice every day. Nor does it mean you have to do every pose perfectly to reap the rewards.
Just start with what you can do and try to fit a class into your schedule for now. Then grow from there.
