Island Tour of Sal

When visiting a new place, it’s always fun to move further afield from your hotel/accommodation and explore. And an Island Tour of Sal is one of the best ways to get a sense of what our little island is all about.

Some of the unique things you can do in Sal on an Island Tour include; exploring the dormant Volacano in Pedra De Lume, experiencing the friendliness of the Cape Verdean people in their own environment, exfoliating in the Salt Lakes (your skin will feel amazing afterward), experiencing the wonder of the Blue Eye, getting up close and personal with some friendly Lemon Sharks (they don't bite), and visiting the sleepy harbour town of Palmeira.

There are a few different ways you can tour the island. Taking a tour with one of the many tour trucks is one option. Booking an Island Tour through an agency is another option. You could join a Beach Buggy or Quad Bike tour. Or my personal favourite, you could rent a Quad Bike and tour the island at your own pace, stopping where and when you want.
